LED matrix scrolling display (scoreboard)
Proteus Simulation Arduino
LED matrix scrolling display (scoreboard)
An Arduino Uno driving a chain of MAX7219 8×8 LED matrix modules with the MD_Parola library. Text scrolls across the display, and you can type a new message in the serial terminal.

8051 multiplexed 7-segment display
An 80C51 microcontroller driving two 4-digit common-cathode 7-segment displays (7SEG-MPX4-CC), with 100 Ω segment resistors. Multiplexing means only one digit is on at any moment. The code cycles through the digits fast enough (about 1 ms each) that your eye sees all of them lit.
SCR latch (switching) circuit
Proteus Simulation PCB Design
SCR latch (switching) circuit
A thyristor (SCR) latch. A short press on the trigger button turns the SCR on, and it stays on after you let go. The only way to turn it off is to break the anode current with the reset switch. That's the idea behind crowbar protection, simple alarms and "press once to start" circuits.
Op-amp LED flasher
Proteus Simulation PCB Design
Op-amp LED flasher
An LM741 wired as a relaxation oscillator (astable multivibrator), running from a single 9 V battery and flashing an LED. The project includes the PCB layout with a 2-pin terminal block for the battery.
5 V regulated power supply
Proteus Simulation PCB Design
5 V regulated power supply
A linear 230 V AC to 5 V DC supply. It has a step-down transformer, a bridge rectifier made from four 1N4007 diodes, a reservoir capacitor and a 7805 regulator. I drew it three times while learning Proteus, so this folder has the simulation version and two PCB versions with the 3D view.
