My Story

Hello! I'm Pradip Subedi, a Electrical Engineering based in Chitwan, Nepal. My engineering journey started with a deep curiosity about how electricity powers the world around us — from lighting a single home to driving an entire cable car up a Nepali hillside.

Over the years I have worked on a range of real-world projects spanning ropeway electrical systems, 11kV substations, solar PV installations, and PLC-based industrial control systems. Every project has reinforced the same lesson: electrical engineering is not just about theory — it is about responsibility, precision, and a commitment to safety.

What I Do

My work spans several areas of electrical engineering:

• Cable Car / Ropeway Systems — Electrical design, VFD commissioning, PLC programming, safety relay coordination, and maintenance for passenger ropeway systems in Nepal
• Power Distribution — Design and protection coordination for 11kV/415V substations, including relay setting, earthing, and switchgear selection
• Solar Energy — Design and supervision of off-grid, grid-tied, and hybrid solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and institutional clients
• Industrial Control — PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi), VFD commissioning, MCC panel design, and fault diagnosis

Why This Website?

I created Pradip Subedi to share what I learn in the field — because engineering knowledge should not stay locked in textbooks or on worksites. Whether you are a fellow engineer, a student, or simply curious about how cable cars work, I hope you find something useful here.

I also built free tools I wished existed when I was starting out: a Nepali Unicode Converter for anyone who types in Devanagari, and a CV Maker for professionals who want a clean PDF resume without paying for software.
